Introduction
The Social Economy Incubator Zone (SEIZE) works with cooperative businesses in Montreal—helping them grow into strategically important industries so that they can displace profit-hungry mega-corporations. They reached out to us to upgrade their website based on a renewed vision and funding base.
Challenge
We wanted to build a very eclectic website that still told the story of SEIZE. One that was visually unique, while being narratively clear.
Build something eclectic, unique, and very clear for users.
Approach
We pulled from resistance art work and mid-20th century advertisements to come up with a scrapbooktype visual direction.
Execution
We built a clear but eclectic story about the vision that SEIZE has for the world and the way that their programs feed into that vision. Ultimately, we set it up on WordPress so they could edit it down the line.
