Introduction
The Projet Communautaire de Pierrefonds-West Island (PCPWI) has been supporting new immigrants and youth in their neighbourhood for more than 25 years. On the heels of a leadership overhaul and in celebration of their 25 year anniversary—PCPWI approached us to create a video that celebrated their accomplishments, and brought awareness to their programs.
Challenge
The challenge was balancing a reverence for the history of the organization, while painting a picture of the future that this new leadership team wanted to build with the community.

Approach
Our approach was simple: engage with various staff and recipients to tell the story of PCPWI’s impact on the community. With those interviews as the foundation of the narrative—we threaded in 25 years of photographs and videos that had been collected throughout the PCPWI’s history. The result is a beautiful piece of nostalgia that points forward in terms of PCPWI’s programming and approach.
